Veritas Christian School

Veritas Christian School is a Classical Christian School serving families in the Lawrence area since 1978 offering K-12th grades including an extensive Athletic Program for junior high and high school students. Students at Veritas Christian School represent 29 area churches and parishes.

Veritas is well known for academic excellence, small class sizes, award-winning teachers, and an environment with welcoming Christian families and students. Students are taught in the Classical Education Model which employs the historically proven method to develop life long learning and the highest academic standards. Veritas students have consistently excelled academically. For example, Veritas students scored over two grades higher than the national average on standardized tests taken in spring 2009 and our graduates continue to attain academic excellence in colleges and graduate schools.

The mission of Veritas Christian School is to provide a Christ-centered, Biblically-based education that nurtures the whole child. We are committed to educate the child spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically by applying the principles of the Holy Scriptures to every aspect of life.

Veritas Christian School is currently enrolling for all grades. We are committed to providing affordable Christian Education for families in Douglas and surrounding counties, and encourage parents to inquire about our tuition assistance program to make a Christ-centered education attainable.
