Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of McGrew Real Estate, Mike McGrew, is proud to announce his candidacy for National Association of REALTORS® First Vice President 2022. Mike’s career in real estate spans almost four decades and marks the third generation of family leadership at the McGrew Real Estate Company.
Mike recognizes that the landscape of the real estate industry and the Association are in the midst of monumental change, and he authentically understands the challenges and desires facing NAR’s diverse membership. Rather than make a list of campaign promises that may or may not be relevant over the course of the next few years, Mike’s platform is about the most fundamental and core principles for REALTORS® across the country.

It isn’t about picking winners and losers – it’s about ensuring REALTORS® are at the table, driving industry-wide change.”
As a former NAR Treasurer, Mike has an intimate knowledge of the financial complexities of the Association. This includes an understanding of just how crucial alternative revenues have been to ensuring the long-term stability of the Association. While Treasurer, Mike helped expand the scope of Second Century Ventures, worked closely with SentriLock, and helped put NAR in a better position to define and deliver new technologies, new opportunities, and new talent for the benefit of all REALTORS®.
Mike has led on key advocacy issues such as association health plans (AHP’s) – even testifying before Congress on the issue in 2018 and serving as a Federal Political Coordinator to US Senator Pat Roberts who was an original author of AHP legislation.
At the end of the day, Mike believes that being a REALTOR® should be less about being a dues paying member and more about being an important voice in this organization, the largest trade Association in the world. By focusing on the key issues that are critical to our members’ success, Mike will ensure the Association is protected and even stronger for future generations of REALTORS®.
