For the second year in a row, McGrew Real Estate is excited to sponsor the Lawrence Public Library’s Summer Reading Program Kickoff events. The program asks participants to read a total of 30 hours this summer — just 20 minutes each day — in order to win cool prizes from local sponsors. This year’s theme is Tails and Tales.
The adult kickoff event will be done virtually through Crowdcast on Wednesday, June 2nd at 7 PM. Master story coach Lisa Cron will tell us all about how our brains are wired for story. Lisa works with writers, nonprofits, educators and organizations, helping them master the unparalleled power of story, so they can move people to action – whether that action is turning the pages of a compelling novel, or taking to the streets to change the world for the better.
