On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, the Lawrence Board of Realtors held New Member Orientation at the Board office.
Board Director and McGrew Realtor, Lucy Harris, said it was a way for new members to ask questions to a panel of agents that recently went through the same situation.
The panel consisted of McGrew Realtor, Brian Johnson, Stephens Real Estate Realtor, Caitlin Fisher, Membership Coordinator & Office Manager for the Board, Leah Kohlman, and Executive Officer of the Board, Rob Hulse.

The National Association of Realtors suggests these 10 tips for rookie agents to succeed. They include:
Do things for others without expecting anything in return.
Brand yourself early on.
Manage your time wisely.
Listen more than talk.
