Michael C. McGrew
Mike McGrew began his real estate journey in 1982 as an agent with McGrew, combining his early career with academic success as he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Kansas in 1983. By 1986, he had earned his Broker’s License, and he has since accumulated an impressive array of professional designations, including Certified Brokerage Manager (CRB), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), and Commitment to Excellence (C2EX).
In 1989, Mike expanded his role to manage support staff while continuing to excel in sales. He took the helm of the company in 2006, succeeding his father, John McGrew, as CEO, and in 2008, he stepped into the role of Chairman of the Board.
Mike’s leadership extends far beyond the office. A dedicated advocate for the REALTOR® profession, he has served in numerous prominent roles, including President of the Kansas Association of REALTORS® (KAR) in 1998, Region 9 Vice President for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) in 2003, and NAR Treasurer from 2014–2016. Most recently, he completed a two-year term as President of NAR’s REALTORS® Relief Foundation, which provides critical financial assistance to disaster victims across the United States and its territories.
In his local community, Mike has left an indelible mark. He was the 2014 Chairman of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and has held vice-chair positions on both the Governmental Affairs and Economic Development Committees. His commitment to mental health advocacy earned him the Lynn Smith Distinguished Service Award from the Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center in 2010, where he also served as Chairman in 2005.
Mike’s contributions have been widely recognized. He was inducted into the Junior Achievement Lawrence Business Hall of Fame in 2024 and received NAR’s prestigious Distinguished Service Award in 2023. Additionally, he has been named REALTOR® of the Year and received Distinguished Service Awards from both the Lawrence Board of REALTORS® and KAR.
Mike and his wife, Christine, are proud parents to two accomplished adult children, John and Nicole. Outside of his professional endeavors, Mike continues to be a driving force in his community, leaving a legacy of leadership, service, and excellence.

Dennis Snodgrass
Dennis is a seasoned professional with a rich history of service and leadership in both the real estate industry and the Douglas County community. A 1986 graduate of the University of Kansas, Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration before launching his career as an Account Executive with the Kansas City Star and Times. In 1988, he joined McGrew Real Estate, bringing his business expertise and passion for community building to the team.
Throughout his career, Dennis has earned the GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) and CSP (Certified Sales Professional) designations, which reflect his dedication to professional development and industry excellence. His leadership was recognized when he served as President of the Lawrence Board of REALTORS® (LBOR) and was honored as the 1999 LBOR REALTOR® of the Year.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dennis has made a significant impact on his community. He served six years on the Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Commission, helping guide the region’s growth and development with thoughtful leadership. As a member of the Lawrence Luncheon Optimists Club and a committed volunteer, Dennis has consistently prioritized giving back to the community he calls home.
His passion for service extends to public safety. As Deputy Chief of the Consolidated Fire District of Douglas County and a founding member of the Douglas County Rapid Intervention Team, Dennis exemplifies a commitment to protecting and supporting others. His dedication to these critical roles showcases his ability to lead and serve in high-stakes situations.
Serving as McGrew Real Estate's President and Managing Broker, Dennis remains a respected and influential figure in both real estate and the broader Douglas County community. His legacy of leadership and dedication continues to inspire those around him.

Patrick Flavin
With over 45 years of experience in residential sales, Pat Flavin is a respected leader of the Lawrence real estate community. Known for his deep knowledge of the local market and dedication to his clients, Pat has built his career exclusively through personal referrals—a testament to his professionalism and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Pat’s influence extends beyond sales. As the former President and Managing Broker of Lawrence Realty Associates, he played a pivotal role in guiding the company until its merger with McGrew Real Estate in 2007. He also served as President of the Lawrence Board of REALTORS® and remains an integral part of McGrew’s management team, focusing on individual coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.
A proud University of Kansas alumnus and lifelong Jayhawk enthusiast, Pat’s contributions to his community are as impressive as his professional accomplishments. He has served as Chair of the BOD of Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and Alumnus of Leadership Lawrence and Leadership Kansas. An Eagle Scout, Pat continues to actively support Scouting activities, embodying the values of service and leadership in every facet of his life.
Pat’s dedication to excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including being named Lawrence Salesperson of the Year, Lawrence REALTOR® of the Year, and receiving the Distinguished Service Award from the Lawrence Board of REALTORS®. The Kansas Association of REALTORS® also recognized him as Salesperson of the Year, and he holds the esteemed status of REALTOR® Emeritus from the National Association of REALTORS®.

Lindsay’s leadership and industry expertise have made her a standout figure in the Lawrence real estate community. In January 2023, Mike McGrew, Chairman and CEO of McGrew Real Estate, announced her appointment to the company’s management team as the Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Lindsay provides brokerage and marketing counsel while continuing to deliver exceptional service to her clients.
